This Role will be fully will be hybrid based from our Calabasas office.
We are seeking a skilled technician for hands-on management to drive demand, utilizing our customer engagement platform, setting up and deploying email and SMS campaigns, as well as tying platform functionality into other relevant vehicles (eCommerce, marketing web presence). The Demand Generation Manager will also be responsible for advertising functions on Google and Meta, setting up and deploying a variety of ad campaigns (video, display, search, etc.), as well as tying advertising functionality into other relevant platforms (eCommerce, marketing web presence).
This role also handles data extraction and reporting for these functions and advises on best practices for future campaigns based on findings in the data.
This function will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Sales teams to develop campaigns that engage musicians, increase brand awareness, and shorten the time to purchase decisions; strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative nature are essential.
The Demand Generation Manager will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Content and Communications and is a functional manager role; there will be no responsibility for managing direct reports.

Essential Job Description
- Develop and manage Braze email nurture campaigns and eCommerce email communications
- Create and execute SMS and In-App marketing strategies to engage customers
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations
- Implement and optimize customer loyalty, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives
- Manage gated content, webinars, and event communications to drive engagement
- Analyze and optimize abandoned cart and customer journey workflows
- Conduct A/B testing and feedback loops to improve campaign effectiveness
- Continuously improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights
- Utilize tools to monitor sentiment, feedback, and customer behavior
- Define objectives, audience targeting, and execution plans for paid media campaigns
- Manage retargeting, programmatic advertising, and YouTube Pre-Roll campaigns
- Monitor KPIs, perform ROI analysis, and optimize paid media efforts
- Support backlink strategy and marketplace promotions
- Collaborate with PR teams to ensure timely campaign delivery
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including ROAS, LTV, and revenue conversion
- Continuously improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights
- Utilize tools to monitor sentiment, feedback, and customer behavior
- Possible/occasional planning engagement with traditional media outlets
What you Bring to the table
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with a Marketing Automation tool, and/or Customer Engagement Platform - Braze much preferred
- 3-5 years hands-on experience working with Google and Meta advertising management tools is essential
- Proficiency in campaign analytics, ROI measurement, and A/B testing
- Experience with Mac OS or Windows and Microsoft Office is essential
- Tableau experience, or experience with a similar data visualization tool, is desirable
- Looker experience is desirable
- Proven project management skills
- Strong understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in campaign analytics, ROI measurement, and A/B testing
- Empathetic, inspiring, and results-oriented engagement style and technique
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to diverse internal audiences
- Experience in the music industry or a passion for musical instruments is a plus
- Salary range $90,000 - $110,000 DOE
