Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate department activities in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures.
- Implement and adhere to all ISO-9000 and ISO 14001 procedures Confers with Division management to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area.
- Directs and coordinates department activities.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
- Reviews costs and modifies programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of department.
- Directs preparation of accounting records.
- Manage senior and junior engineers in the development of recreational vehicle projects for the consumer product market from concept to production.
- Manage staff training and day-to-day activities.
- Maintain department records for projects and support audits of development systems.
- Confirm feasibility of new parts and systems engineered by others to meet required testing, cost and schedule targets.
- Periodically give project status presentations to executives according to stage gate process.
