General Description of Major Tasks of Position
The Quality Engineer (Level 1) is responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in organizing the QMS, working towards / maintaining ISO 9001 : 2015 certification. He / she will lead cross-functional teams to create process flowcharts, and SOPs, and will have the responsibility for maintaining compliance by conducting audits.
Specific Duties Include, But Are Not Limited to :
- Work with Cross-Functional Teams to Establish Process Flow Charts & Written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Work with Consultant to Achieve & Maintain ISO 9001 : 2015 Certification.
- Conduct training for Quality Management System standards.
- Maintain Document Control System.
- Lead “Process-Based” QMS Assessments - focusing compliance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor corrective actions from audits and ensure their completion.
- Prepare for ISO Certification.
- Facilitate structured problem solving.
- Lead / facilitate NC / CAPA reviews for accuracy and completion.
- Continuous Improvement of QMS.
- Drive cultural, systemic embedment QMS processes.
