Job Summary :

The Sales & Marketing Specialist will follow territory marketing policies, sales programs, campaigns, and distributor / dealer development activities for Yamaha Motor Distribution Latin America, with an exceptional customer service. With a focus on driving results, the associate in conjunction with the Manager will provide territory sales support, and distributor-dealer development activities.

Essential Job Functions :

1. Execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve company targets. Implement marketing, pricing, sales and service programs or policies with distributors to ensure the effective company rules, standards, values, culture, and benefits.

2. Support with market research and sales forecasting with distributors. Gathers and analyze distributor KPI’s information to identify sales opportunities.

3. Maintain a strong relationship with our customers in Latin America and Caribbean territories. Work with distributors for dealer-network development : 3S concept, Yamalube sales expansion, Service campaigns, Promotions, Suggested prices, Inventory control, Customer service satisfaction, Yamaha know-how trainings. Collaborates and participates in field promotional activities.

4. Work cross functionally across Yamaha Motor Distribution Latin America teams to support distributors / dealers needs and deliver exceptional customer service.

5. Collaborate on the development of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports. Keep management informed of key issues in Latin America and Caribbean markets and forward weekly status and other reports as requested. Review renewal of policies – agreements with customers and promotional vendors.

6. Control customer discrepancies log and addressed to related parties for investigation and results.

7. Carry out various administrative tasks or special assignments within the department as needed.

Perform a variety of sales and marketing business development activities, including developing, executing, and monitoring moderately complex projects and tasks, including negotiations, analysis, and customer support.

Qualifications (minimum and preferred experience, education, and / or certifications required to perform the role) :

• BA degree in Marketing, Management or related field required.

Consideration for equivalent combination of education and experience.
