Job Title: Senior SAP HANA Data Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP HANA Data Architect to analyze business needs and develop solutions for system architecture and functionality in an SAP Business Warehouse (BW)/High-performance Analytic Appliance (HANA) environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture: Develop and implement technical objects (stored procedures, table types, models, applications, integration schema) for improved data integration on SAP HANA Business Technology modules and systems;
- Technical Development: Develop and troubleshoot defects on SAP HANA software system components using SQL scripting; recommend new practices for SAP/Business Objects (BO) financial reporting, planning, and consolidation;
- System Documentation: Prepare visual diagrams and documents of SAP SW/4 HANA system architecture, functionality, and process flows;
- Communication: Communicate project/task design, schedules, and status to Input Service Distributor (ISD) Management, Business Partners, or other team/project members;
- Technical Analysis: Perform ad-hoc or project-specific technical analysis of SAP systems and programs that integrate requirements among SAP modules including Finance, SAP Material Management (MM), SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP) and non-SAP systems;
- Design Documents: Create functional and technical design documents for critical workflows and continuous improvement within the SAP HANA platform.
The position allows some work-from-home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work onsite as required.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 7 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as SAP Consultant, Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or a related occupation in SAP-focused analysis/development.
Expertise Required
- SAP Systems: SAP BW/4 HANA, S/4 HANA, SAP Business Warehouse/Intelligence (BW/BI) and ERP Central Component (ECC) and Financial (FI) suites;
- BW/BO Modeling and Reporting: _bw/BO modeling and reporting;
- SAP Life Cycle Implementation: SAP life cycle implementation;
- Smart Data Integration: Data export from SAP and non-SAP system sources with Smart Data Integration (SDI);
- Data ETL: Data ETL with OpenHub and ABAP;
- ServiceNow Change Management: ServiceNow Change Management tool.
