Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Regional Sales Coordinator to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. The Regional Sales Coordinator is accountable for communicating Yamaha Outboard sales and marketing programs and requirements as it pertains to O.E.M. Boat Builder Accounts. Works closely with Regional Manager on the development of sales strategy, marketing and sales target achievement. Additional works with sales team to enhance industry and sales knowledge. This level is entry-level sales coordinator position.What you'll be doing : Accountable for communicating sales and marketing programs to boat builders. Obtain planned, scheduled, and ASAP outboard and ASAP MRP orders for boat builder accounts, including monitoring inventories, review credit holds and boat builder credit lines, and all paperwork to maintain accurate boat builder account information and files as required by Corporate Policy Guidelines.Develop open lines of communication and build relationships with the following strategic partners : Yamaha Boat Company; other approved boat company partners, and all divisions of Yamaha.Work with OEM Regional Manager, boat builders, and Account Administration Personnel to formulate a strategic plan to achieve monthly sales targets. Recognize and develop key sales strategies unique to each boat builder account. Assist in the evaluation and sale of promotional boat builder outboard. Obtain additional monthly business for sales programs and follow-up on new business leads from dealer inquiries and boat builder partners.Work with individual boat builder accounts to accurately forecast outboard and MRP product needs based of data collected from market trends, new product needs and quantifiable from past year's sales.Develop and administer the OEM Marketing Development program, regionally. Assist marketing and advertising representatives of boat companies in the design and layout of joint advertisements in order to effectively integrate and promote Yamaha Outboards as the essential part of the boat package. Assist in the revision and production of OEM Marketing Guide.Assist with and communicate Yamaha product features and benefits that are consistent with advertising objectives and schedules for various media events, boat and outboard product review, focus groups, and other special product evaluation projects.Support cross-functional duties as necessary; limited sales order entry in supply chain management such as tracking of orders, communication with distribution; dealer sales to ensure boat builder leaders are followed-up and appropriate responses relayed to prospective dealers; review dealer sales programs with key personnel at boat builders; assist Regional Applications Engineer on various projectsAssist with the development and coordinator of various special promotions throughout the year, including boat shows, dealer meetings, magazine shoots, etc., to provide Yamaha and boat builders with unique sales opportunities. Work with regional accounts in scheduling and maintaining Boat Builder Dealer Meetings and co-coordinate the OEM Boat Builder Meeting.Timely completion of an array of administrative duties including but not limited to, complete and maintain boat builder record cards and files; obtain sales representative lists, dealer lists, and new boat model information; appropriate and complete new and existing OEM contracts, financial information, and other legal documents; and special projects as assigned by senior management.Assist with sales training for boat builders in-house staffs and independent boat sales representatives; participate in Yamaha's Sales and Service Seminars.What you need to be successful : Bachelors degree or equivalent certification is requiredAt least 1 to 2 years of previous experience in similar position at a minimum; experience and knowledge of basic Marketing / Sales principles and Marine Industry knowledge a plusMinimal travel industry events and dealer functionsRequired to be computer literate, including experience with MS Excel, MS Word and sales softwareDon't meet every single requirement?
