Job Summary:
- The position oversees the Logistics and Procurement areas. It is responsible for the workflow of parts, oils, and accessories received either from suppliers or affiliates at our third-party warehouse. Responsible for the procurement and order processing functions within the company to support LATAM and Caribbean markets. This role supports the optimization of cost efficiency through operations and capacity, and it is responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize efficiencies within the Supply Planning function through data analysis and interaction with cross-functional teams. The candidate must have experience with LATAM & Caribbean automotive or motorcycle spare parts industry.
Qualifications (minimum and preferred experience, education, and/or certifications required to perform the role):
- BA/BS degree in business management, industrial management, or related field preferred. Consideration for equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 or more years' experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control or materials management, purchasing/Supply Chain in distribution environment.
- Years of management experience? 4 or more years of Project Management experience or a leadership position.
- CAD Technology certification preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Windows OS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of time.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong operating knowledge of at least one world class WMS (SAP EWM preferred, but other possibilities include JDA, Manhattan, Oracle, etc.), bar code technology, and electronic data interchange.
- Strong understanding of multi-national operations
- Knowledge of Inventory Planning
- Knowledge of import process and application of harmonized codes.
- Knowledge of HAZMAT and export shipping rules and regulations
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including working around material moving and packaging equipment (pick lifts, dock lifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines, etc.) and maintenance equipment (scissor lift, floor scrubbers, power supplies, etc.).
- Strong understanding of multi-national operations
- Excellent customer service skills

- Project management experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bi-Lingual English and Spanish preferred)
