Do you have a passion for emerging trends and beauty products, especially K-Beauty? Are you interested in procurement, data analysis, and inventory management? If so, Yami is looking for a Summer Purchasing Intern to assist our team in optimizing purchasing processes, evaluating new products, and supporting vendor relationships. This internship provides valuable exposure to e-commerce operations and product strategy.
Responsibilities:
Data Insights & Analysis: Assist in analyzing purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, demand patterns, and areas for cost savings.
Product Maintenance: Support inventory monitoring, track slow-moving items, and participate in product audits to maintain optimal stock levels.
New Item Exploration: Research potential new products, suppliers, and market trends, helping to evaluate new offerings and conduct cost-benefit analysis.
Vendor and Supplier Support: Help maintain vendor records, track supplier performance, and support purchase order management.
Reporting & Communication: Assist in preparing purchasing and inventory reports, communicate with team members on product availability, and contribute to decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
Available to work onsite (Monday-Friday; 40 hours a week) in Brea, CA.
Available to start work in June-August.
Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (including pivot tables and advanced formulas like VLOOKUP).
Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
Enthusiasm for new trends and beauty products, especially K-Beauty.
