Quality Control Supervisor

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing support for quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and material technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement daily procedures and review / assess activities against internal control standards. 
• Ensure the conformance to specifications of fabrications, purchased material, and assemblies in an assigned area. 
• Interprets inspection policies and procedures and supervises the activities of personnel. 
• Verifying that quality is being maintained throughout the assembly process. 
• Start of Quality meetings. 
• Team members are in place and checked in. 
• Quality equipment in place. 
• Expectations of the day are clearly communicated to the team at the start of the shift. 
• Daily rounds taken taken in each functional area and stay in their area of responsibility. 
• Communicate with Team Leads before leaving work area.  
• End of shift 5S walk. 
• Ensure Pass Down reports are communicated for the next shift. 
• Conduct initial training and assessment of quality controllers. 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Schedule

• First Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm 
• Second Shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm 
• Third Shift: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am 

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Relevant certifications from a Technical College preferred. 
• 1-3 years industry experience required.
