What You Will Be Doing:

Specialization within Maintenance Tech career path, otherwise referred to as Journeyman Maintenance. Main role will be to service production needs and ensure down time is kept to a minimum. In addition, will also need to work with outside vendors to get complex repairs done as quickly as possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all Maintenance Tech 1 and 2 functions.
• Able to troubleshoot complex equipment and repairs.  This includes working with outside vendors. 
• Developing PMs. 
• Maintaining PM schedules – including issuing, documenting, and follow up. 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems. Additionally, this role involves coordinating with external vendors to facilitate timely and efficient completion of complex repairs.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to lift/lower/carry 15 lbs constantly and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices.
• Frequently pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing, repetition – hand/wrist simple and firm grasping.

• Frequently crouching/stooping/squatting, crawling/kneeling, climbing/stepping.

• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry).
• Problem solving and multitasking.
• Safety conscious and customer focused.
• Be self-driven and take pride in your work.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Relevant certifications from a Technical College preferred.
