Title: Production Manager
Department: Production
Reports to: President/CEO & Business Operations Manager
Consults with: Management Team
Overall Responsibility: Receive demand from customers, plan and organize production schedules, assess job requirements, and manage resources to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the ERP system (Guardian) to plan and prioritize production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules and forecast.
- Communicating ship dates, production delays, and upcoming risks to customers.
- Compiling status and performance reports for customers and management.
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Attending production meetings to provide detailed updates on the plan and manage promise dates.
