Drywall Estimating Specialist

Job Overview:

Yarco Construction Inc. is a reputable provider of commercial construction services seeking a skilled Estimator to join its team. As an Estimator at Yarco Construction, you will play a critical role in developing accurate cost estimates and bids for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating large commercial and multi-family projects involving metal stud framing and drywall. They will also be proficient in On Center Software, with the ability to perform detailed material and labor takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for commercial construction projects, including material and labor requirements.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost estimates and bids to clients.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in estimating commercial or multi-family projects.
• Proficiency in On Center Software (On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
