A Day in the Life
You'll face challenges that transform ordinary yards into vibrant works of art. Whether it's repairing intricate irrigation systems, installing innovative landscape lighting, or shopping and delivering plants from annual flats to 36-inch box trees, every task is a new chapter in a rewarding career. You'll master tools, including blowers, string trimmers, chain saws, and hedge trimmers. You'll drive our trucks and vans to jobsites, where you'll be trusted for your hard work.
Your Role and Responsibilities
After comprehensive training, you'll work independently and confidently tackle tasks, including:
- Irrigation & Lighting: Repair and install new irrigation systems and landscape lighting
- Plant Management: Shop for, deliver, and install plants ranging from annual flats to 36-inch box trees
- Tool Mastery: Use common landscape tools and operate equipment like chain saws, pole saws, and hedge trimmers for pruning
- Physical & Independent Work: Carry up to 50 pounds, drive trucks and vans for extended periods, and evaluate property needs to develop creative landscape solutions
- Maintenance: Keep equipment clean and in top working order
