Job Responsibilities
Yarde Metals is looking for a Class A Driver to join our Fleet & Operations Team in Chester, Virginia. A Class A delivery driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers.
- SAFETY FIRST!
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle covering North Chester, VA and Southern NC.
- Average stops per day range 6-8.
- Load and unload material.
- Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
- Verify material condition and quantities during the loading / unloading process.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs.
- Comply with DOT / FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Always represent the company in a professional, courteous, and presentable manner.
