Childcare Provider

Yardley Friends Meeting (located at 65 N. Main Street in Yardley, PA) is hiring an experienced childcare professional to care for young children (Toddlers to approximately age 9) during our worship services on Sunday mornings. Hours required 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. Ideal candidate will be able to start in mid-February 2025.

Applicants must be 16 years or older and enjoy spending time and playing with young children. Prior experience caring for children required and must be responsible and communicative. Applicants should be available every Sunday. Background check and child abuse clearance are required in this position.

Compensation will be $25.00 for each Sunday.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

1. On Sundays, arrive by 9:45 a.m. Introduce yourself to any children as they arrive with their parents. Play with children in the classroom, and possibly outdoors, during the hour of worship and then bring children into the worship room to rejoin families at the rise of meeting at 11:00 a.m. A member of the meeting will help you during this hour.

2. Classroom is fully stocked with age-appropriate toys, games and activities to engage young children.

3. Communicate any important information about the children present each week with their parents and/or members of the Religious Education Committee.
