ummary T
he Irrigation Technician's primary purpose is to perform all irrigation service tasks safely with minimal supervision while meeting or exceeding company quality, production, and WOW customer service standards and maintaining a high level of morale.

esponsibilities P
- erform assigned property service contract requirements in a timely manner with minimal supervision daily M
- eet or exceed company maintenance production standards P
- romote a safe work environment. Thoroughly understand and comply with company policy and safety manual; report and document any / all unsafe conditions or accidents P
- roperly and safely use basic maintenance hand tools and other equipment but not limited: shovel, water hose, quick coupler key, wire tracer, and small machinery. C
- omplete and process all necessary job paperwork that is required when visiting a site. I
- nteract with clients, Account Manager(s), and subcontractors in a professional and courteous manner A
- ble to train others on the job as needed and maintain a high level of morale W
- ork all assigned hours, including w eekend and overtime hours as necessary. F
- ully perform start-up inspections of the irrigation system to include: clock maintenance, backflow, zones, heads, valves, and rain sensor F
- ully perform system shut-downs of irrigation systems including hooking up air compressors and blowing the lines out, winterizing the backflow, and unplugging the clock and or turning off a water pump. P
- erform basic troubleshooting techniques and make on-site repairs as necessary. Maintain proper irrigation parts on the vehicle at all times P
- erform property inspections and complete proper forms in their entirety before leaving the job site E
- ffectively communicate work order and system status to the department head, account manager, and any other parties that require information about the system and property C
- omplete daily paperwork as required by each job, including Tracking and submitting billable and nonbillable hours per job high insight. P
- erform regular safety inspections on the vehicle D
- emonstrate integrity and positively promote Yardnique Inc. image at all times O

EQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE M
- inimum of a high school diploma or equivalent M
- inimum of 2-3 years experience in irrigation installation C
- ertified as Irrigation Technician (CIT), or actively working toward certification V
- alid driver’s license and insurable on the company’s insurance policy P
- roficiency in basic math P
- roficiency in verbal and written communication; ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions A
- ble to communicate effectively in English I
- nteract and communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner P
