Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Landscape Sales Associate to join our team. As a Landscape Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive project experience. Your expertise in lawn care and groundskeeping will be invaluable in helping customers select the right products and services for their landscaping projects.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their buying process.
- Assist customers in selecting products related to mowing, hardscape, landscaping, and lawn care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hardscapes, civil details, and irrigation systems to guide customer purchases.
- Provide information on services such as hardscaping, groundskeeping, and building outdoor structures.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends and product offerings to better assist customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape sales and/or construction is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Knowledge or experience in landscaping, including mowing, hardscape, tree care, and lawn care is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardscapes, hand tools, and irrigation systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed for customer assistance.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about new products and services related to landscaping.
