What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM Lead Server position at Yasemi Chicago?
Yasemi brings Modern Mediterranean to Chicago. Our menu offers a delightful array of dishes, from fresh mezze and salads to hearty mains including kebabs and delicately grilled seafood, all crafted with authentic ingredients.

As we look to open up more shifts, we are looking for a Lead Server/Keyholder to join our team.
The server is responsible for representing Yasemi with the highest level of service and professionalism while selling and serving an upscale dining experience.
Our servers work closely with the rest of the staff, both FOH and BOH, to ensure product quality and a thorough understanding of our food and beverage menus, along with inspiration and history in order to tell our story to our guests.
- 5 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service, elevated/fine dining restaurant setting
- Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge
- A true reliable person that we can trust to lead the team as an opener or closer and handle any guest issues during the shift
- Work with the management team to ensure proper training of all of the staff and SOPs are being met an
- Able to use Toast POS system to process orders and bill.
- Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and restaurant before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.
- Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends and brunches/lunches
- Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or more
- Must have State of Illinois Basset Certification/Food Handlers Certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to serve alcohol in the city of Chicago
- Must have Saturday and Sunday lunch availability
