We are looking for a SAS Technical Lead for a 6 month project.

This is day 1 onsite in Peoria, IL
- 8 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or software development.
- 3 years of experience in leading migration projects, especially from SAS to Python.
- Proficiency in SAS, Python, and the Python data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Jupyter, etc.).
- Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Skills:
- Expertise in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS SQL) and migrating it to Python.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience in machine learning models and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of best practices for cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and training junior staff.
