SUMMARY
Respond to customer telephone or written inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders for products, repair and services, requests for prices and quotations, complaints, to include returns, shortages and adjustments, expediting and requests for literature parts research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate actions to ensure that customer needs are met
- Create quotes for customers via Epicor ERP system
- Create returns for customers via Epicor ERP system
- Verify purchase order content and confirm accuracy
- Enter sales orders for customers via Epicor ERP system
- Respond promptly to customer requests or inquiries via phone and email
- Work closely with Technical Support, Returns Department, and Parts Planning to ensure customer needs are met
- Utilize and help maintain ISO procedures, work instructions and documentation
- Help administer orders, users, and requests for ecommerce website
- Aid manning front desk some days during receptionist lunch period
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Candidate must be able to interact professionally with customers and be very organized. Competency in Outlook, Excel, and general web applications is required, as is the ability to follow up on open issues and keep customers informed.
