What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tech Sales Coord - CSG position at Yaskawa America Inc.?
Provide technical product and general sales related support for Regional Technical Managers (RTMs), strategic partners and OEMs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide technical support and documentation for RTMs in regard to aftermarket product offerings. Particular effort will be focused on driving business for Rebuild, Retrofits and Repairs.
- Compile material and perform sales and technical product training for Regional Technical Managers.
- Assist management and Regional Technical Managers in sales lead follow-up and sales qualification as required.
- Gather information to identify customer’s need, desire and ability to make a purchase.
- Develop leads for potential aftermarket sales.
- Review and generate sales quotations as required.
- Work closely with customers, Regional Technical Managers and all internal departments to ensure smooth and timely receipt of purchase order related documents and information.
- Provide trade show sales support.
- Perform special sales promotion activities as assigned by management.
- Evaluate, compile, and distribute Cost Tracking Sheets and proposals as needed.
- 10 - 35% travel required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts Degree from four-year college or university, and three to five years technical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent computer skills and abilities. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and protect competitive data. Capital equipment experience and process knowledge a plus.
Above average written and verbal communication skills. Able to speak to groups of
individuals and participate in meetings.
