What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coop - Engineering/Technology position at Yaskawa?
Basic requirements:
1. Junior or later student who is and Electrical/Mechanical/Robotic Engineering or Technology program or similar. Experience with a robotics team, PLC programming, Mechanical/Electrical CAD, robot programming, engineering club or other educational opportunities a plus.
2 Self-starter with a good work ethic and interested in learning and growing with the company.
Activities:
Students will learn under a mentor to understand process or customer projects and work to include Engineering BOM (bill of material), Electrical & Mechanical drawings, robot programming and use of Epicor (business system software)
The student initially work with Manufacturing to understand the build process and flow.
Students will work to understand the whole process from time is order is taken until it ships to a customer. To include the importance of providing correct BOM's and drawings and other associated information to provide manufacturing a complete package.
Student will work with various engineers and designers to see the impact of the decisions made and how that impacts other design requirements.
