Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented QC Inspection Lead to oversee daily in-process inspections in the workshop. This role is critical in ensuring all products meet appearance, dimensional, welding, and coating quality standards as per internal procedures and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hourly inspections on product appearance and dimensions.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections on welded tubes, including weld quality and zinc layer thickness, using appropriate tools.
- Verify adherence to QC inspection procedures (SIP), and supervise inspectors in following the correct inspection methods.
- Maintain inspection documentation accurately and ensure daily archiving in the inspection measurement room.
- Enforce 5S standards in the QC area, ensuring tools and gauges are organized and the work area is clean and safe.
- Immediately report and label any non-conforming products, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Report any major quality issues and coordinate with production to halt work if necessary.
- Re-inspect and verify corrective measures before resuming production.
- Perform random audits to ensure process control and inspection consistency.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or above; technical or mechanical background preferred.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection or workshop supervision.
- Knowledge of welding and galvanized coatings is a plus.
- Familiarity with SIPs (Standard Inspection Procedures) and ISO quality standards is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, coating thickness gauges).
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to stand/walk throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Full-time, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $23.11 - $25.05 per hour
