What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Yates Services, LLC?
Night Shift - $20.93 (10P-6:30A overtime, Sunday - Thursday)
** PREVIOUS WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE & 1 YEAR OF STAND UP FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED**
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Ability to operate a scanner/tablet
· Accurately perform safety checks on MPE (Forklifts, Tugs, Reach Trucks)
· Must be certifiable with training on MPE (Forklifts, Tugs, Reach Trucks)
· Frequently mount and dismount MPE throughout workday
· Walk/Stand for 7 hours a shift
· Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division)
· Flexibility within the shop floor (rotation of jobs)
· Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Use simple tools such as tape measure, nail gun, air gun, box cutter, etc.
Complete check sheets accurately for all outbound and inbound loads.
Follow warehouse layout to put material in its proper place.
Determine placement of material either through label shape, color or letter.
Follow internal quality standards and export regulations on outbound shipments.
Read a forklift scale and record weight on check sheets.
Perform yard checks when needed.
