Role
Under general supervision, performs supervisory and technical records work of moderate difficulty specific to the assigned department.
Major Duties, Responsibilities
- Evaluates employees within the assigned records unit.
- Processes and files pertinent files in alphabetical, numerical, subject matter or other organizing order.
- Assists in the development of policies, procedures, and operations.
- Inputs relevant data into various software and hardware systems.
- Implements programs and projects and recommends operational revisions to supervisors.
- Retrieves records as requested and provides information contained in files and maintains filing system.
- Disposes of obsolete files and data in accordance with lawfully established retention schedules.
- May perform special project research and analysis as assigned.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible general office experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license without restrictions.

Work Environment:
The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effective in-person and telephonically. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
