Responsibilities
- Patient population - 18 ; Geriatric
- Work shift: 4 x 10-hour days
- Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
- Daily patient volume: 22-24 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner
- Procedures - Suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKG’s,etc. Will vary by experience.
- Call: On call up to 4 times per month and the days of the week vary, including weekend call. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call
- No Shift call- just after hours on-call
- This is a panel position and provider will be expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow ups, etc.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program with a Master's degree in Nursing- Compact state or Arizona RN license
- Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license or elgibilty to obtain
- National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations
- Valid DEA registration
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider
- PREFERRED: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
