What we are looking for :
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Human Resources team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 12, 2025 , to August 15, 2025 .
What you will be doing :
- Project Work : The HR intern will gain exposure to various HR functions, including Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, and HRIS. While the intern may contribute to short-term projects across these areas, their primary focus will be on supporting a project centered on culture and well-being. They will play an active role in shaping, proposing, and implementing this initiative.
- Success Metrics : Successful implementation of a culture and well-being initiative.
- Collaboration : The HR intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with HR team members across the US and Mexico. Additionally, they will engage in networking with fellow interns, cross-functional team members, organizational leaders, and potentially external service providers
