What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Facility Manager to join our Supply Chain Management team in Laredo, TX. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

Manages all daily operations and related associate activities within the Distribution Center which may include but is not limited to warehousing, sequencing, rework, inventory control, budgets, asset control and facility maintenance.

What you will bring to the table:

• Prepares reports as required by senior management
• Assures direct reports comply with all YNA Corporate policies and procedures
• Reviews and maintains budget
• Manages and maintains fixed assets
• Communicates directly with YNA Customers both internal and external to develop, maintain and improve relationships
• Addresses and resolves Customer issues and complaints
• Hires, trains, evaluates and schedules Associates
• Defines facility goals and objectives
• Establishes associates career development plans
• Ensures effective implementation of customer specific requirements
• Mentors and develops Associates
• Promotes and maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Assists senior management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
• Understands and supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
• Supports health and safety policies
• Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
