What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Components business unit in Canton, MI. This person is responsible to assist and support the Platform/Program Managers in coordinating the efforts of the team for a successful completion of program objectives that meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. This position is hybrid.
What you will be doing:
- Engineering Change: Structure and maintain ECI wire harness part numbers in BEAMS. Support and assist team with tracking and approving program-engineering changes and related tasks in BEAMS, including affiliate response, ERFT, STA, & NOR response metrics.
- Prototype Part Delivery: Support the broader PM team by coordinating the order and delivery of prototype material for customer milestones.
- Prototype Build Support: Support the broader PM team when limited prototype build events are being assembled to support customer milestones.
- Test Circuit Inventory Management: Inventory tracking and order placement for test leads needed to support ECI connector and terminal testing.
- Project Scheduling and Tracking: Maintain, update and distribute scheduling and tracking documentation that meets program scope and customer requirements. Documentation will include program event/milestone tracking, reporting and coordinating corrective action plans as required.
- Expedite Support: Work with Engineering, Purchasing, and Program management to support the expedite of prototype components and test circuits.
- Meeting Support: As required, support and facilitate meetings required for project related activities.
- Project Information: Maintain, update, and distribute accurate project information to the program team.
- Project Issues List: Maintain and track project issue lists and follow up as appropriate (for example, PPAP, CSL, AIL, etc.), escalate issues as necessary.
- Project Reviews: Coordinate and prepare project status reports for program reviews including monthly project snapshots and other key metrics as required.
