Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicle repair, along with a strong attention to detail. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including collision repair and restoration.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs, including buffing and welding as necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and provide accurate auto estimating.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Replace or repair auto glass as needed, ensuring proper installation and sealing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and the use of hand tools specific to auto body work.
• Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
• Strong skills in welding, buffing, and overall vehicle restoration techniques..
• A background as a mechanic is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
