Job Summary: The Cottage Attendant at Yeamans Hall Club is responsible for a wide range of tasks that focus on member and guest services. This position is seasonal and very active from September through May, including holidays on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Easter. Potential year-round employment opportunities are available with other departments. The Cottage Attendant must possess a high level of professionalism and a consistent, cheerful, and helpful attitude. This individual must maintain a constant and detailed level of attention to personal appearance and actions as they will have daily interaction with members, guests, and several employees.
Physical Requirements
1. Good physical health, must be able to see clearly to read, write, and drive.
2. Will be required to lift, carry, sit, walk, push, pull.
3. Will be required to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.
4. Must be able to move continuously during work hours.
5. Must be able to lift and/or carry more than 50 pounds.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Driving: The ability to operate a vehicle safely and follow traffic rules. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a 5-year motor vehicle check are required.

Essential Cottage Attendant Duties:
This is a sample of what this job entails, as the environment is constantly changing, and different tasks may be required of you:
1. Knowledge of Club Grounds (ex- Club buildings and Proprietor Cottages)
2. Knowledge of Club Rooms (ex- building names and locations, basic mechanical systems – lighting, thermostat operation, fire protection system, etc.)
3. Provide Transportation Services and drive safely when operating a fleet of vehicles or golf carts. Keep these vehicles in clean condition
4. Operate a Sprinter van with ease.
5. Fireplace services – reset and maintain as needed throughout the Clubhouse and Cottages.
6. Event setup for Clubhouse Rooms
7. Basic Maintenance Services (light bulb checks, window washing, building cleaning, etc.)
8. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the Club’s buildings.
9. Perform specific errands, tasks and special projects per request from various departments.
10. Report any needs or problems to the Clubhouse Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, or General Manager.
Compensation & Benefits
1. Hourly Range: $17 - $19 based on previous experience.
2. Bonus: Christmas bonus in December each year.
