We are looking for a caring and energetic Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms and help children learn, grow, and thrive!
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, implementing appropriate behavior management techniques as needed.
- Organize activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with students in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development is essential.
- Strong skills in behavior management to effectively address various classroom situations.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in toddler care or caregiving is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to create a supportive learning environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
