About Year Up United
Year Up United is a one-year, intensive career training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Participants receive an educational stipend to support their learning journey.
The program combines technical skills with professional training, including business fundamentals, helpdesk support, investment operations, banking, application development, data analytics, project management, and cyber security. Students gain practical experience through internships at leading organizations, such as Citizens, Amica Mutual Insurance Company, Lifespan, and Fidelity.
To be eligible, applicants must be 18-29 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the U.S., and be available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration. Motivation to learn and a willingness to acquire new skills are essential for success.
What You Will Gain
Through this program, you will develop professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and ongoing support to launch your career. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
Upon completion, 75% of graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months. Employed graduates average a starting salary of $53,000 per year.
