The Financial Advisory Career Training Program at Year Up United is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip young adults with the essential technical and professional skills required to succeed in the financial sector.
Through a combination of classroom training, internships, and personalized mentorship, participants aged 18-29 gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills such as business communication, resume building, and networking.
Year Up United's industry partnerships ensure a high employment rate for graduates, who also receive an educational stipend during their internship. With access to leading organizations in the Detroit area, including Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, our program provides unparalleled opportunities for career growth and development.
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18-29 years old
- Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
Upon completion of the program, participants will have gained a range of skills, including professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, and resume building. They will also have access to ongoing support and guidance to help them launch their careers.
