What are the responsibilities and job description for the Launch Your Career with Professional Business Skills position at Year Up United?
Looking to advance your career in customer service? Year Up United's training program is designed to equip young adults with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this exciting field. Our one-year or less intensive job training program provides in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship.
The program covers a range of topics, including business fundamentals, cyber security, data analytics, helpdesk/desktop support, project management support, and banking & customer success. You'll also gain valuable experience through internships and job placement support.
To be eligible for the program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be 18-29 years old
- Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Not have obtained a Bachelor's degree
During the internship phase, you'll earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. Our graduates have seen significant success, with 75% employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation. They also earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
