Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swim lessons using the Safe Splash curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students
- Adapt lessons to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles
- Provide clear feedback and progress updates to students and parents
- Monitor students to ensure proper safety practices and respond to emergencies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area before and after lessons
- Attend staff training, meetings, and ongoing professional development sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous swim instruction, coaching, or lifeguarding experience is a plus but not required
- Strong swimming ability and understanding of basic stroke techniques
- Passion for working with children and helping others learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications
