Yellow Bell Cafe is a brand-new breakfast and brunch spot opening in downtown Keene in March 2025! We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic baristas to join our team. If you love crafting the perfect cup of coffee, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to cafe standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment with expertise and care
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages
- Maintain knowledge of coffee blends, roasts, and flavors to answer customer questions
- Provide friendly, attentive, and prompt service to all guests
- Take customer orders, process payments, and handle transactions accurately
- Keep the coffee station clean, organized, and stocked at all times
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with prep work, such as grinding beans, restocking syrups, and maintaining inventory
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to create a seamless guest experience
- Uphold the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Yellow Bell Cafe
Requirements:
- Experience in Coffee experience shop, cafe, or similar environment
- Proficiency in espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive guest experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
