Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment
- Support automation systems including PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize performance and aggressively pursue process improvements
- Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS or related systems
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
- Potentially work rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 4 years of experience in industrial (or comparable) electrical maintenance, OR
- Equivalent education/military training (Electrical)
- Formal Training Requirement: Must have at least a 2-year electrical or related technical degree OR military training in Electrical
- Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance
- Demonstrated understanding of power systems and automation technologies
- PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics
- Proven track record in process improvement and collaboration with operations
- Additional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields
