The role of the Education Coach is pivotal in shaping the educational landscape of our program.
As an Education Coach, you will inspire excellence, ignite curiosity, and empower our teaching staff to create meaningful learning experiences that lay the foundation of a lifetime of learning, one yellow brick at a time. You will support teachers and staff in their classrooms through hands-on modeling, guidance, lesson planning, audits, and customized training.
In collaboration with the Director, Regional Director, and Senior Director of Education and Programming, you will evaluate and prioritize needs, while integrating core values and our mission into every aspect of coaching. Education Coaches maintain positive communication with administrators, teachers, families, and students, conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and ensure that all centers meet and exceed high-quality standards.

If you want to be an Ed Coach with our team you will need to be able to :
Work as an Instructional Coach to partner with teachers and staff to help them improve teaching and learning so students can be most successful.Travel between schools to partner and collaborate with staff to get a clear picture of current reality, identify goals, pick teaching strategies to meet the goals and monitor progress; Problem solve until goals are met, according to our educational philosophy.Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to teachers in the creation of engaging lesson plans, hands on activities, and application of learning materials.Maintain positive relationships and communication with teaching and administrative staff, and a high level of comfortability with conducting constructive conversations while providing resources.Conduct regular classroom observations to assess teaching methods, classroom management, and student engagement, contributing to continuous improvement of the education program.Partner closely with Directors to determine a plan for before and after classroom support is given, to ensure consistency for the long term.Offer constructive feedback to teaching staff to promote professional growth and enhance teaching techniques, while collectively cascading information to the Director.Attend and facilitate professional development sessions during staff meetings and annual trainings, focusing on continued learning opportunities, child development, effective teaching strategies, and classroom management.Assess and report on baseline requirements and ongoing progressUnderstand and support generalized classroom management & positive behavior guidance strategies.Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in ECE and incorporate them into the coaching.Utilize technology such as Office Suite, daily reporting software, online lesson planning tools, etc.Additional Requirements :
Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and valid form of transportationMust possess a valid CPR / First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.Must be willing to travel up to 50 miles to centers that require support.Must be able and willing to perform physically demanding work, such as (but not limited to) lifting, carrying, kneeling, crouching, etc. and up to 65lbs.Must have initiative and a “can do!” attitude.Maintain a flexible and open-minded mindset.Must be able to regularly use technology such as Microsoft Office, online lesson planning, daily reporting
