Weekend Fulfillment Specialist
Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented and hardworking individual to join our team as an e-commerce fulfillment specialist. In this role you will be assisting with the accurate and timely fulfillment of all online orders and helping ensure all customers have and excellent experience transacting with Yellow Dog online. If you have or would like to learn a great deal about flies and fly-fishing gear for both fresh and saltwater this position is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Pick products from the retail floor and back stock for online orders in an efficient manner to ensure timely fulfillment
- Package products neatly and in both a visually appealing and secure arrangement to avoid damaged goods in the shipping process
- Display excellent communication skills to help customers with any questions or concerns they have when purchasing gear online and to relay proceedings to the rest of the team.
- Handle all customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a prompt and professional manner, striving to resolve all issues to the customers satisfaction
- Direct customers through the return process by adhering to company return and exchange policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with unpacking merchandise shipments and keeping products stored in an appropriate manner.
- Stay up to date with product options, specifications, and availability to best assist customers.
Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability
- Vast fly fishing gear and fly knowledge both local and destination is preferred but not necessary.
- Detail-oriented and attentive to accuracy when processing online orders
- Ability to work both independently but also as a part of the fly shop team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or online fulfillment
- Passion to learn about fly fishing, fly fishing gear, and fly fishing travel
Position Type: Full Time (30-40 hours/week)
Schedule: Thursday - Monday
$15 - $17/hr DOE
