Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This is a tipped position with daily payouts ranging from 20 to 100 dollars.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service at the register.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items, upselling when appropriate to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Participate in training sessions for food handling, preparation techniques, and customer service best practices.

Skills

• Proficient in food handling practices and food service operations.
• Experience in cash handling and basic financial transactions.
• Background in the food industry, particularly within quick service or fast food restaurants.
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Strong skills in food preparation with attention to detail for quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar restaurant management software is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
