Job Summary
We seek a motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, relationship building, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Commercial Sales Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets. As an Ameren Energy Trade Ally, we are able to offer our clients incentives that will cover up to 70% of their purchase, making their buying decision very easy.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in assigned territories.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including networking and cold calling.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, while identifying upselling opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account information, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management or a similar role, preferably within B2B or technology sales environments.
- Strong skills in account management with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in upselling products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Familiarity with territory sales strategies and techniques for effective market penetration.
- Proficiency in inside sales practices, including lead generation and follow-up processes.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a commitment to meeting client needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
