We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Service professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently. This role involves performing essential tree services, including trimming, pruning, and maintaining the health of trees and landscapes. A strong commitment to safety and quality work is essential.
Duties
- Operate bucket trucks and rigging equipment to perform tree trimming and removal tasks safely.
- Assess tree health and provide appropriate care, including pruning and disease management.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, ensuring the aesthetic appeal of gardens and lawns.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning tree care services.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with clients regarding service options, recommendations, and project progress.
Experience
- Proven experience in tree care or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with bucket operation, rigging techniques, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of plant biology and horticulture principles is a plus.
- Experience in lawn care or garden maintenance will be beneficial.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- A valid driver's license may be required for operating company vehicles.
