Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for Service Manager at our Midland, TX location. Our applicants must exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. Must be able to assist the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time billing, reports, and records relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership.
Reports To : Service Manager
Responsibilities
- Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager / Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced.
- Promotes and adheres to company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality.
- Administers the warranty claim process to maximize the efficiency and return on warranty claims.
- Understands warranty regulations and is able to provide consultation to Service Managers, Techs, and Parts Department Personnel on the proper way to proceed with a warranty situation.
- Processes customer pay invoices, warranty and / or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
- Communicates to departmental management about warranty status on a regular basis.
- Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
- Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization.
- Executes other duties as assigned by management.
