Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for Rental Technician/Yard Manager at our Broken Bow, OK location. Our applicants must exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references.
Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale or rent by the dealership. Performs incoming and outgoing inspections on equipment. Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer. Assist customers with loading, unloading and operating equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Store Manager, Service Manager, Shop Foreman or Senior Technicians.
Assists in coordinating and directing the workload of the Sales, and Rental Department for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Assists the Store Manager in the efficient operation of the Sales Department.
- Cleans, organizes and maintains the visual aspect of the yard. Includes, but is not limited to, picking up trash, weed removal and proper placement of equipment.
- Promotes and adheres to company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality.
- Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of repairs needed on returned equipment and on time submittal of information.
- Starts and operates the equipment on the yard monthly, to ensure correct operation and readiness.
- Manage all machines coming in and out of the store
- Process, prioritize, and schedule repairs of all rental equipment
- Determine what rental repairs go to the main shop or repaired by the rental department
- Manage the flow and priority of all machines getting washed.
- Inspect and quality control all rental and new machines going out for delivery
- Help manage and schedule the haul trucks to maintain maximum efficiency
- Work with the store manager to ensure attachments are ready with new machine orders and deliveries
- Organize the machines and attachments on the yard for easy of identification and status
- Approves the release of equipment for delivery to the customer.
- Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Executes other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- 3 years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred.
- Experience leading a team and working cooperatively in a team environment.
- Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction or heavy equipment.
- Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
- Experience with basic computer functions; Experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer based diagnostic repair tools preferred
- Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift 75 pounds without issue.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates Degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
