Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Hand to join our team in a oilfield services environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks related to washing tools, painting, and pulling jobs. This position requires the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools.
Duties
- Assist in the washing, painting, and putting up of tools before and after jobs.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely within the manufacturing facility.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for breaking down and reassembling fishing tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the factory or warehouse setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a oilfield shop or similar environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating forklifts is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
- Must be able to lift heavy items safely and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
