Full-Time Teller Position – Bozeman Branch Yellowstone Bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Teller for our Bozeman location. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by handling account transactions such as deposits, loan payments, savings withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Manage night deposits and mail transactions; sell cashier's checks and other financial instruments; respond to customer inquiries in person or via phone and refer clients to additional banking services when needed.
- Record and report transactions accurately, including cashier's checks and currency transaction reports.
- Promote bank products and services by addressing customer inquiries, identifying their needs, and providing information about new offerings and promotions.
- Fulfill special customer requests such as ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, providing statements or document copies, and handling safe deposit box procedures.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of the cash drawer, including verifying transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins, and preparing loan coupons. Submit excess cash to the head teller while maintaining adequate cash supplies.
- Uphold operational and security protocols by participating in dual-control procedures, auditing currency, and assisting in certification processes.
- Safeguard customer and bank confidentiality to maintain trust and security.
- Contribute to the success of the team by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
