Position Summary : Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Behavior Specialists play a crucial role in developing and implementing interventions to address challenging behaviors, promoting positive coping strategies, and fostering supportive environments. The Behavior Specialist collaborates closely with treatment team members, educators, and families to promote positive behavior management and support youth in achieving success both in school, their home, and community settings.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Develop individualized intervention planning based on assessments and incorporate evidence-based strategies.
- Provide direct care for youth in school, home, and community settings.
- Collaborate with treatment teams, supervisors, educators, community partners and families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans and support youth's complex needs.
- Create and conduct necessary documentation accurately and maintain documentation expectations in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Contribute to the strategic goals and outcomes of the agency as measured by the development and achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational goals, and outcomes. Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization, both individually and as a team member.
- Deal constructively and helpfully with all other members of the organization.
- Fully support and model the mission and values of YBGR.
- Adhere to all policies, systems, safety requirements, and procedures of the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED & 2 years of experience working with youth in a similar setting or environment. OR
Required Abilities / Skills

Salary : $17 - $19
