The Yellowstone Club Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, fostering professional development and skill-building. Interns will gain exposure to various facets of operations while contributing to creating lasting memories for Members and guests through unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure every Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet and acknowledge Members and guests, maintaining high service standards and demonstrating strong knowledge of Club offerings.
• Represent Yellowstone Club with pride and professionalism, ensuring all interactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.Understand and adhere to all property safety and security procedures to create a secure environment for team members, Members, and guests.
• Respond appropriately in emergencies, including seeking medical attention if necessary and notifying supervisors or Human Resources.
• Foster a positive and respectful working relationship with Yellowstone Club team members to promote a supportive work environment.
  
  
  

Essential Job Functions:

• Contribute to the success of your department by actively working on tasks and projects defined in the internship plan.
• Participate in day-to-day operations, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to team efforts.
• Assist with Member and guest interactions, ensuring service standards are upheld.
• Maintain an organized and detail-oriented approach to assigned duties.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Perform tasks in accordance with Club policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and opportunities as they arise throughout the internship.
  
  
  

Other Job Functions:

• Converse with Members and guests in a hospitable and professional manner.
• Be accessible to Members and guests to address their needs throughout their visit.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure Member and guest expectations are met.
• Uphold standards for quality, privacy, customer service, and Club culture.
• Assist with special requests, event support, or project coordination as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance and adhere to Club policies on professional conduct.
• Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club in all interactions.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a college or university student receiving internship credit.
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships and communications with members, management, and staff.
  
  
  

Computer Skills

• Basic knowledge of technology.
  
  
  

Language Ability

• Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors, and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
  
  
  

Math Ability

• Able to perform basic math calculations.
  
  
  

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
  
  
  

Work Environment

The employee is frequently required to drive throughout the property or into town, up to several hours of sitting and paying attention to the road at a time. The employee is also constantly required to use their vision and alertness to perform an activity such as but not limited to determining the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including driving safely. The employee is constantly required to maintain safety standards and compliance with Yellowstone Club policies and Montana state laws when operating vehicles.
