Yellowstone Club’s Golf Course Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Landscape Construction Manager .
The purpose of the Landscape Construction Manager is to oversee the landscape and irrigation installation of all landscape areas located throughout the Yellowstone Club property. This may include site design and layout and certain architectural freedom if the need arises.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly or indirectly supervises employees in the performance of their duties, as well as actively participates in all aspects of landscape maintenance; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws; assists the Director in the interview process, hiring and disciplining employees; properly trains employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Experience/Education Required
High School Diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; Three to five years of landscape maintenance experience; three years of managerial experience; demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of flowering bulbs, annual and perennial flowers, trees, and shrubs acclimated to this elevation and exposure; pesticide/fertilizer application experiences; basic irrigation function, repair and maintenance.
Preferred Education
Associate degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture or related field
Certificates & Licenses
Valid State Driver’s License
Continuing education encouraged and funded by the club
Computer Skills
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Language Ability
Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
Math Ability
Able to perform basic math calculations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

- Ensure that each member and guest receive outstanding guest service in a friendly environment.
- Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests, and take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally.
- Understand and apply proper safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
- Daily timekeeping and payroll approval.
- Assist in maintaining the landscaped grounds on the Yellowstone Club property including surrounding golf course landscape features.
- Assist in the management of the greenhouse and all ornamental plant materials utilized in the landscaping of the property.
- Design, source, and order plants and landscaping materials for the Club grounds and golf course projects.
- Develop yearly Landscape Maintenance projects and schedule.
- Oversee and direct the irrigation scheduling, proper operation, and winterization of landscape irrigation throughout the Club.
- Plant, mulch, weed and remove plant materials in accordance with landscape plan.
- Perform daily tasks associated with proper operation and care of all landscape equipment.
- Work with the Director and Horticulture Manager in the development of annual budget, staffing and capital needs.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and organized work area.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, some weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Perform pesticide/fertilizer applications and required recordkeeping.
